A friend’s blog had one of those tagger things where you were supposed to reveal yourself in various ways. I found I could not easily answer, so I decided to take it seriously and give it a try.
Reveal your essence (heart) in a: song, picture, poem, phrase, item of clothing, place, piece of art.
This one came to me on my way to work today: The Black T-shirt
Goes with everything, hides dirt and stains, makes no statement, and is slimming (so I’m told). The perfect garmet for me. I have half a dozen blank ones, and three or four ones with logos of one sort or another that I wear and wear until they are no longer black and are fit only for dustrags. Then I go out and buy more. If my job allowed, I’d wear one every day. As it is, I wear black pants every day, the below-the-belt version of the black t-shirt, and have about four pairs of the exact same pants (all purchased at one time) in constant rotation. Then I went crazy over the weekend and bought four more pairs of ever so slightly different ones. Radical. Seriously, my wardrobe of choice would look like John Gray’s from Nine and 1/2 Weeks:
(Hopefully without all the psycho-sexual issues.)
